Mayor Marion Barry's legacy is set, extreme worthwhile considering impact even to this day, current project  is continuation of that Barry Legacy with a core member of the Barry Team being recognized for beyond the call...

We are dedicated to renaming DC Jails and other DOC buildings after Delbert C Jackson Jr. and Dorothy A. Jackson as both contributed with a living passion everyday to deliver value to make a difference in the lives of citizens of our great city.....so many times whether it be hero, a veteran, an agency Head, a public servant, and their spouses that allowed greatness to grow...just as when Family Foundations invest in our community we list both, the primary and spouse.


Our goal is to recognize their contributions and ensure that their legacy lives on in our community.
